The following music festivals in the south and east of England include classes for harp. The larger festivals have several harp classes and often have a harpist as the adjudicator, whereas smaller music festivals may have a single adjudicator for all music classes. Some classes are restricted by age, or grade; others are open.

In Scotland, the Royal National Mod, held in October, is Scotland’s premier Gaelic festival and provides opportunities for people of all ages to perform across a range of competitive disciplines including Gaelic music and song, highland dancing, instrumental (including clarsach), drama, sport and literature. A different Scottish town hosts the Mod each year.
